Doll House Baked Goods will be open at The Country Village until at least April 2019
First, thank you to everyone who helped make 2017 an outstanding year for us at Doll House Baked Goods. We look forward to making more cookies, cakes, pies and other baked goods. You can still find us here at our shop, and at our farmer’s markets in the Spring and Summer, as well as other events throughout the year.
In the meantime, we are focusing on our original plan for Doll House Baked Goods:
Grow our business, stay calm, and keep on baking.
What About The Country Village Right Now?
Late last Spring we first heard the news that The Country Village, where our shop is located, had tentatively accepted an offer from a developer who plans to replace it with condominiums. As of this writing, the deal has been agreed upon but the final sale will not take place until 2019. We have been assured that we won’t need to vacate our location until April 2019, at the earliest.
Shops are still open and there are many events planned throughout 2018, including all of the holiday activities people have come to love every year. Some shops have moved out, or are in the process of moving out. New shops are coming in, filling in the vacancies.
Where Will You Go In 2019?
Honestly we don’t know where we will relocate when The Country Village closes. Of course we’ve been looking at our options, but at the moment it doesn’t make any sense for us to move our bakery at this time. When we get closer to April 2019 we will have a better idea of what we are going to do, and will let you know as soon as possible.
Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
